Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Crazy tender, melt in your mouth slow cooker pot roast with carrots and potatoes. This super easy recipe requires little prep and the crockpot does all the work!

Pat roast dry with paper towels.  Add a little oil to a skillet and sear the roast on all sides. Place in the bottom of the slow cooker.  Deglaze the pan and add bits to slow cooker.


Sprinkle with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.  Mix broth & bouillon -add to slow cooker.  Place vegetables. Cover & cook on LOW for 8 hrs.

Make gravy: Melt butter, stir in flour, cook & stir 2 min. Whisk in the beef broth from  the cooker.  Simmer & stir until thick.

Serve gravy over roast and potatoes.
