Easy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 3 pounds potatoes washed and peeled
  • 6-7 cloves of garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 3 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • salt
  1. Cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes. Place in a large saucepan and cover with water. Add in peeled garlic and sprinkle with salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender.
  2. Meanwhile in a small saucepan heat milk until warm.
  3. Drain potatoes and mash. Add milk and cream cheese and mash until smooth (can use a mixer to get them ultra smooth). Stir in green onions and salt to taste.
