Easy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

washed and peeled
thinly sliced green onions
Cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes. Place in a large saucepan and cover with water. Add in peeled garlic and sprinkle with salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender.
Meanwhile in a small saucepan heat milk until warm.
Drain potatoes and mash. Add milk and cream cheese and mash until smooth (can use a mixer to get them ultra smooth). Stir in green onions and salt to taste.
