Jalapeno cheese bread stuffs a flavorful mixture of cheddar, jalapenos, and bacon into a loaf of bread. It's the perfect football appetizer!

- 1 rustic round loaf of french Italian or sourdough bread
- 4 strips bacon minced
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper minced (remove seeds and ribs for less heat)
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 4 cups cheddar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Using a bread knife cut bread without cutting all the way through.
Fry bacon and when it starts to render some fat add jalapeno and fry until tender. Add garlic and fry for a couple minutes. Add to melted butter in a medium sized bowl. Let cool slightly. Add cheddar cheese and combine well.
Stuff bread with cheese mixture. Wrap with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
