These Sausages and Apples are a quick and tasty one dish meal perfect for the upcoming fall weather!
Main Dish, Pork
Servings: 4 -5
beer brats or other sausages of choice
cut into 1/4-1/2" slices (I used Fuji)
medium red onion
salt and pepper to taste
In a large skillet cook sausages over medium low heat until browned about 15 minutes. Remove from skillet.
Add in apples, onions and water to skillet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Nestle sausages on top of apples and onions and drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until sausages are fully cooked.
