Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • Any nut butter
  • Granola store bought or homeade

Instructions

  • Wash and core the apples. Slice into rings.
  • Spread your choice of nut butter over an apple slice and sprinkle with granola. Spread some more nut butter over another apple slice and place on top of the granola to make a sandwich.
  • Press slightly and repeat with other slices.

Notes

You can make them a couple of hours, or maybe a day ahead of time. If you’re running out for the day and bringing them as a snack, just wrap them up and go - no fridge required.
If you’re prepping them a couple days ahead, I’d keep them in an airtight container in the fridge until you’re ready to serve. Keep in mind that they’re best served immediately and the longer you leave them in the fridge the mushier they’ll get.
