This Oven Roasted Green Beans recipe is a really quick side dish that will add nutrition to any meal

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds green beans trimmed and washed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place green beans on a large baking sheet and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Arrange into a single layer as best you can. Bake for 15 minutes. If desired toss the garlic with the green beans in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Don't cook the garlic too long or it may burn.
