  • 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 12 oz bag fresh or frozen cranberries
  1. In a medium sized pot bring the juice, sugar and zest to a boil to dissolve the sugar. Stir in the cranberries and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until the berries have burst and the sauce has thickened slightly (about 10-12 minutes).
  2. Chill for at least 2 hours but can be stored for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Sauce will thicken more as it cools.
