These donut and fruit kabobs are my favorite easy dessert recipe! All you need are donuts and your favorite fruits, plus whatever else you want to add to the skewer. This recipe is ultra-customizable, to the point where you could bring a different version to every party throughout the year and no one would get tired of them!

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz pkg. cake donut holes
  • Assorted fruit I used strawberries and raspberries
  • 10 Wooden skewers
  • Melted chocolate optional

Instructions

  • Insert a wooden skewer into a donut hole and then into a piece of fruit. Continue alternating with donut holes and fruit in desired pattern.
  • Drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired.

Notes

Storage: These skewers are meant to be enjoyed the day they were made because the moisture in the fruit will leech into the donut holes if left too long. However, you can keep the donut holes and fruit stored separately.
Donut holes can be stored in an airtight container or bag at room temperature for up to 2 days - beyond that they’ll get stale. The fruit can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for about 3 days. Skewer your ingredients when you’re ready to enjoy.
