Jalapeno Cheese Bread with Bacon

Jalapeno cheese bread stuffs a flavorful mixture of cheddar, jalapenos, and bacon into a loaf of bread. It's the perfect football appetizer!

Ingredients
- 1 rustic round loaf of french Italian or sourdough bread
- 4 strips bacon minced
- 1 medium jalapeno pepper minced (remove seeds and ribs for less heat)
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 4 cups cheddar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Using a bread knife cut bread without cutting all the way through.
- Fry bacon and when it starts to render some fat add jalapeno and fry until tender. Add garlic and fry for a couple minutes. Add to melted butter in a medium sized bowl. Let cool slightly. Add cheddar cheese and combine well.
- Stuff bread with cheese mixture. Wrap with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
