This Orange Margarita is a new twist on a classic. It's bright and refreshing and so easy to make. Perfect for single serve or make a pitcher for a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or cointreau
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼-½ ounce simple syrup or agave (optional)
  • ice
  • coarse salt for glass
  • lime and/or orange wedges/slices

Instructions

  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass then dip into salt; set aside.
  • Add orange juice, tequila, cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake very well to combine and chill the drink.
  • Pour into prepared glass and enjoy!
