These beefy bean tostadas are the perfect 30-minute weeknight dinner! The beef and bean mixture is deliciously flavored with homemade taco seasoning and green chilies, and then garnished with a variety of fresh toppings. This dish is easy and beloved by all!
116 oz can refried beans (or you can make your own)
14 oz can chopped green chilies
8 tostada shells
toppings of choice such as: lettucecheddar, tomatoes, avocado, sour cream
Instructions
In a large skillet brown hamburger with the garlic over medium to medium low heat until no longer pink. Drain off any grease.
Reduce heat to low and add in the taco seasoning, refried beans and chopped green chilies. Stir well to combine. Remove from heat.
Top each shell with 1/3 cup taco filling then top with desired toppings. Serve immediately.
Notes
Note: You can keep the filling in the fridge for up to 5 days, stored in an airtight container. Check the tostada shells for expiration dates, but they should last for about 7-10 days once opened.
