Impossible Cheeseburger Pie is a delicious and effortless dish that combines ground beef, cheddar cheese, and Bisquick baking mix to create a savory, satisfying meal. Perfect for any night of the week!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (500g) lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup (75g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • cup chopped dill pickle
  • ¾ cup (100g) Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup (235ml) milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly grease a 9" pie plate and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion until no longer pink. Drain any grease. Pour into prepared pie plate. Stir in the cheese and dill pickle. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the baking mix, milk, eggs, garlic powder, worcestershire, and mustard. Pour over the beef mixture. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing if you want neat slices.

Notes

  1. STORAGE: Store cooled leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. 
  2. FREEZER-FRIENDLY: Cool the pie completely, then wrap it in plastic wrap and heavy-duty foil. Freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw completely overnight in the refrigerator. Reheat, covered, at 325 degree F for 20 minutes or until heated through.
