Before You Get Started
GROUND BEEF: Try to use really lean ground beef if you can, or you will need to drain any extra grease after browning the hamburger.
BISQUICK: You can use the box of original Bisquick from the store or make my Homemade Bisquick instead. Healthier because you control the ingredients and there are no preservatives!
Don’t overmix the Bisquick batter. Some lumps in the batter are fine! Over-mixing will activate the gluten in the flour, which results in tough, dense baked goods.

How To Make Impossible Cheeseburger Pie:
This is just a quick overview of the method for this cheeseburger pie. As always, specific measurements and step-by-step instructions are included in the printable recipe box at the bottom of the post.
STEP 1: Brown the ground beef and onion until no longer pink. Add to the pie plate and stir in the cheese and dill pickle.
STEP 2: In a medium bowl, combine the baking mix, milk, eggs, garlic powder, Worcestershire, and mustard. Pour over ground beef mixture and bake.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve topped with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced green onions, ketchup, and mustard for a real cheeseburger-ish flavor. I love serving this with a simple side salad dressed with Homemade Ranch Dressing. These Oven Roasted Green Beans, Creamy Cucumber Salad, or this Cucumber Honeydew Salad would go well too.
