This Pineapple Glazed Ham is delicious, stunning, and perfect for holidays or any special occasion! The ham is coated with a sticky, sweet brown sugar and honey glaze and then topped with pineapple and cherries. - 1 (10 pound) fully cooked bone-in ham
- 1 (20 ounce) (567g) can pineapple rings
- ¾ cup (355g) packed brown sugar
- ½ cup (120ml) pineapple juice; drained and reserve juice
- ¼ cup (60m) honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon ground clove
- 10 maraschino cherries, drained
Preheat oven to 325℉.
In a small saucepan, add pineapple juice, brown sugar, honey, Dijon, soy sauce, garlic powder, cinnamon, cumin, and clove. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Line a roasting pan with foil or parchment paper (for easier clean-up). Place the ham in the pan. Score if desired.
Brush half of the glaze all over the ham. Pin the pineapple rings around the ham using toothpicks to secure. Pin cherries with a toothpick in the center of the pineapple rings.
Bake for 1-2 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 115℉-120℉, basting every 30 minutes. After removing from the oven baste one last time with the juices from the pan. Let stand 15-20 minutes before carving.
- Be sure to remove the ham at least 2 hours before baking to allow to come to room temperature or you will need to increase the cook time.
