Lemon Cheesecake Cookies

  • Christmas goodie #2 is a lemon cheesecake cookie.  I must confess these cookies are only semi homemade (AAAHHH GASP)  Don’t judge me to harsh but these cookies use a boxed cake mix.  I do usually make things from scratch but sometimes it is nice to have some really quick meals or desserts on file.  The holiday time can be so crazy and no one has to know you used a cake mix anyway.  It will be our little secret!

    Lemon Cheesecake Cookies

These lemon cheesecake cookies are a family favorite.  We like the chewy texture and the lemon cheesecake flavor.  It’s a winning combo and it will be something different to add to your cookie tray to break up all that chocolate.  Not that chocolate is a bad thing but we do have some family members that don’t like chocolate (I have no idea why, still trying to figure that one out) so I try to come up with something for everyone.  These cookies also have a mood lifting effect I think because they are lemon they just make you think of spring.  At least that’s what I do, I love springtime.  Wow this is going to be a long winter.
