Fry Sauce
This delightful fry sauce is easy to make and turns ordinary fries into something extraordinary! It’s bursting with flavor and works well with a variety of foods. The sauce is smooth, tangy, and perfectly balanced—neither too sweet nor too salty.
Try my favorite creamy taco sauce on Taco Tuesday, homemade tartar sauce for fish sticks or fish sandwiches, or this remoulade sauce for fish, fries, or crab cakes.

Before You Get Started
- Use high-quality ketchup and mayo since they are the base of this recipe. Better yet, try my homemade mayo!
- You can allow the flavors to meld in the fridge for a few hours for the best results, but it’s also delicious right away. away.

How To Make The Most Delicious Fry Sauce
This sauce is quick to prepare using pantry staples. The only patience needed is for the chill time, which allows the flavors to meld together before serving. You’ll find the full measurements in the recipe card below.
STEP 1: Make the Sauce
Mix all the ingredients together and whisk until well combined. Let it chill for several hours to combine the flavors and create the best tasting dressing.

Storage
Store this sauce in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. I like to use old salad dressing jars or jelly jars to store homemade salad dressings and sauces.
Substitutions
Swap out any of the ingredients for something else you prefer.
Spicier: add cayenne, siracha, or other hot sauce
Tangier: add in pickle juice, more horseradish, or a splash of white wine vinegar
Add bbq sauce or chili powder for a different flavor profile.
