This Mojito Fruit Salad is a fresh fusion of ripe watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, and blackberries tossed in a refreshing dressing using honey, lime, and mint. It’s so pretty to look at and tastes amazing. For an adults-only version, add some rum!

I love all the fruit in the hot summer months, and we love eating this Easy Fruit Salad filled with all the fruit and tossed with a simple dressing. Or make this Fresh Peach Salsa and serve with chips, salmon, or even grilled chicken.

How To Make Mojito Fruit Salad

This is just a quick overview of the method for this fruit salad. As always, specific measurements and step-by-step instructions are included in the printable recipe box at the bottom of the post.

STEP 1: Combine all the ingredients for the dressing. Set aside.

STEP 2: Combine all the fresh fruit in a large bowl.

STEP 3: Gently toss the fruit with the prepared dressing and chill until ready to serve.

PRO TIP: For an extra pretty salad use a melon baller for the honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon.

Recipe Substitutions

  • Feel free to use other fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, pineapple, or even mango.
  • Swap out the mint for something different, such as basil.
  • Or make a mint simple syrup to replace the honey and mint in the dressing.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (640g) cubed watermelon
  • 2 cups (285g) cubed honeydew
  • 2 cups (285g) cubed cantaloupe
  • 1 (6oz) (170g) container blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon minced mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • zest and juice of 1 large lime

Instructions

  • Combine fruit in a large bowl; set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the mint, honey, lime zest, and juice. Add to the fruit and gently toss to combine. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours. Toss before serving.

Notes

  1. STORAGE: Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The fruit will get softer the longer it sits. 
  2. For an adult-only version, stir in 2-4 tablespoons of rum with the dressing before tossing with the fruit.
