How can anyone resist melty chocolate and gooey marshmallow s’mores?? I also can’t resist brownies or ice cream or cake or… I’ll stop now. However I can resist the mess that s’mores can make because trying to chase down 5 kids with a washrag before the walls are smeared with that yummy goodness can be a little challenging. We like to make s’mores not only in the summer but in the winter with our fireplace 🙂
- 3 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 c sugar
- 3/4 c butter melted
- 3/4 c cocoa powder
- 3/4 c. butter melted
- 2 TBSP hot water
- 1 2/3 c sugar
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/3 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 c. chocolate chips
- 10.5 oz bag of mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 degress.
Grease a 9x13 pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl. stir together ingredients for the crust and press into prepared pan in an even layer. Bake for 12 minutes.
In a large bowl combine first 8 brownie ingredients and stir to combine. Pour over crust and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake for 20 minutes or just until set. Remove for oven and top with marshmallows . Place under broiler for a couple of minutes and be sure to watch them closely.
Let brownies cool completely before serving.
